Program PERANTIS ISKANDAR oleh EduCity Iskandar diilhamkan oleh model program perantisan dari negara Jerman, sebuah program lengkap untuk memenuhi permintaan dan keperluan industri melalui inisiatif peningkatan kemahiran (‘upskilling’).
Berpandukan visi Fast Forward Your Career, PERANTIS ISKANDAR adalah sebahagian daripada sumbangan EduCity Iskandar untuk menyokong usaha kerajaan Malaysia dalam memastikan golongan belia mendapat peluang perkerjaan di dalam INDUSTRI yang sesuai, dengan GAJI yang berpatutan.
Usaha murni ini tercapai apabila Kementerian Kewangan telah menganugerahkan dana sebanyak RM5 juta di bawah inisiatif program PENJANA, melalui Pihak Berkuasa Wilayah Iskandar (IRDA) pada 17 Mac 2021 untuk menjayakan program ini.
Kini PERANTIS ISKANDAR bersedia untuk melaksanakan program ini dengan kolaborasi dan sokongan syarikat dan agensi korporat tempatan dan antarabangsa bagi memastikan para perantis berjaya akan diberi tawaran pekerjaan, selepas tamat sesi latihan industri.

Program PERANTIS ISKANDAR adalah sebuah program pembangunan modal insan yang menyokong inisiatif kerajaan Malaysia dalam usaha memulihkan ekonomi dengan aspirasi berikut :

Program ini adalah gabungan antara latihan amali dan industri yang akan berlangsung selama 3 hingga 6 bulan, bergantung pada program yang ditetapkan
Bergantung pada jenis program yang ditawarkan.
Dibawah program latihan Teknologi Automotif & AI Programmer, lokasi latihan akan diadakan di EduCity Hub, Iskandar Puteri, Johor.
Tiada pemotongan KWSP dan PERKESO akan dibuat kerana program ini menawarkan elaun latihan, bukannya dalam bentuk wang gaji.
Peserta yang mendapat tawaran untuk menyertai latihan di Johor akan diberikan menikmati penginapan yang akan disediakan oleh pihak pengurusan.
Pengesahan tawaran pekerjaan bergantung pada prestasi peserta semasa sesi latihan.
Peserta diminta untuk menyerahkan surat tawaran sebagai pengesahan kepada pihak pengurusan, bertujuan untuk mendapat kebenaran menolak tawaran pekerjaaan yang ditetapkan oleh pengurusan setelah selesai sesi latihan.
Sila rujuk butir-butir di dalam kontrak yang ditawarkan kepada peserta, termasuk klausa berhubungan pelanggaran perjanjian .
Ya, pihak pengurusan akan mengeluarkan Sijil Tamat Latihan dari kursus latihan di bawah program PERANTIS ISKANDAR.
The PERANTIS ISKANDAR Programme (‘PERANTIS ISKANDAR’), a programme developed to support the government’s initiative under the PENJANA initiatives with the following aspirations:
• Produce competent talent for Malaysian industries;
• Enhance Iskandar Malaysia’s regional economic development via human capital development
• 18–35 years old
• Any interested candidates from all education level (SPM, STPM, Diploma, and Degree) can join, from any field of study
• Must be a Malaysian citizen
• All PERANTIS ISKANDAR participants will continue to get jobs after the end of the training
• Given a monthly allowance worth RM1,000 during the training period
• Get the opportunity to study and work under the close supervision of mentors from the industry

• There is no fee for the PERANTIS ISKANDAR programme
• Participants are responsible for meeting the requirements of the PERANTIS ISKANDAR programme offer & agreement, including working in a company that has been set by the Management, for the agreed duration of time
The programme is a combination of training and apprenticeship period, which takes from 3 – 6 months, depending on the programme applied.
Depending on the programme, Automotive Technologist & AI Programmer will be held at EduCity Hub
There will be no EPF and SOCSO deduction since this programme offered a training allowance instead of a salary.
Only for the training programmes held in Johor where the apprentice will enjoy a suitable accommodation provided by the Management
Confirmation of employment depends on the performance of the apprentice during their programme
Apprentice is required to submit the letter offer as confirmation to the Management to justify their request to decline post-training Job Offer
Please refer to the details on the agreement, which stipulates the clause on breach of contract
Yes, the Management will issue a Certificates of Completion from the training courses under the PERANTIS ISKANDAR programmes
• Successful apprentice from the programme participants will continue to get job offers after the completion of their training
• Financial support in the form of a monthly allowance of RM1,000 per month and insurance will be provided during the training period
• Exclusive opportunities to be mentored by the experts in the relevant industries
